sound familiar?

Smart kid. No study plan.

STUCK“I studied!”
They read their notes once on the bus.

TOO MUCH“Everything is due tomorrow.”
Three things open, none finished.

TIRED“I knew it last night.”
Then they blanked on the test.

It’s not a memory problem. It’s a strategy problem. Questwise gives them the strategy in words they already speak fluently, because the test is just…

  • the boss
  • the big game
  • opening night
  • the final level
  • the case
  • the concert
  • the belt test
  • launch day
  • race day
  • the showcase
  • results day
how it works

Four moves. One page at a time.

  1. Test firstNotes closed, one question per topic, rated honestly. “I think I know it” doesn’t count.
  2. Practice from memoryWeak topics on two or more different days, 15 to 30 minutes at a time. Every try counts.
  3. Fix the missesEach mistake gets a cause and a fix, then a mixed, timed practice run.
  4. Keep homework visibleThe Quest Board puts the week on the wall: 3 tasks today, one at a time.

Proof, not promises

Every Test Prep Guide ends with a “Proof it worked” box: how many topics were ready at the start, and how many are ready now. No more arguing about “did you study?”

There’s a page just for you, too: how to help in small ways (be the quizzer, ask “which page is next?”) and then step back so the plan stays theirs.

who it’s for

Made for the people who help kids study

why it works

Built on how memory actually works

Rereading and highlighting feel productive but build little memory. Testing yourself, spacing practice over several days and checking mistakes are among the best-supported study methods in learning research. Questwise turns them into one-page steps a kid can follow alone. It’s a study tool, not a treatment, and it never shames a missed day.

Frequently asked questions

What is Questwise?

Questwise is a set of printable study systems from This World Explained for kids ages 11 to 14 (grades 5 to 9). Each one teaches proven study habits (test yourself first, practice from memory, spread practice over several days, fix mistakes) in the language of a world your kid already loves, like video games, sports, theater or science.

What do I get?

Each world has a 16-page Test Prep Guide ($9.99) for any test, a 10-page Quest Board homework planner with an 11×17 poster ($8.99), and a Bundle of both ($16.99). Every bundle also includes its world’s Mehtivation deck: 45 illustrated pep-talk cards. Everything is an instant PDF download, US Letter, black-and-white friendly.

Is it good for kids with ADHD?

It was designed with distractible kids and kids with ADHD in mind: one job per page, a short instruction of 20 words or fewer, short sessions, a visible next step and no streaks that break after a missed day. It is a study tool, not a treatment.

Which world should I choose?

Choose the one your kid already talks about. The method and page numbers are the same in every world, so siblings with different interests can use the same system together.

The test is tomorrow. Will it still help?

Yes. Every Test Prep Guide has a one-page plan for the night before: about 90 minutes, in order.

Can I use it for homeschool or in my classroom?

Yes. The license covers one household or one teacher’s own students, and you can reprint it for every test this year.

How do I get the files?

After checkout you get a download link by email and in your account. Files are delivered securely, and links work for 30 days.
