The sketchbook goes everywhere. The homework folder goes missing. This art studio homework board pins every assignment to the wall, where your kid can actually see it.
Sound Familiar?
The worksheet went into the backpack and never came back out.
“I didn’t know it was due.” (It was due today.)
The planner you bought is blank after page three.
They can sit and draw for two hours, but picking which assignment to start takes forever.
Creative kids often push back on planners: tiny rows, rigid boxes, a book that only helps if they remember to open it. The Studio Wall works like an artist’s wall. Everything is pinned up in plain sight.
The Studio Wall
Four columns, taped up where homework happens:
THE BRIEFS: everything due in the next 7 days, to bring, or to ask
TODAY’S WORK: max 3. Pick once, then stop deciding.
ON THE EASEL: only 1. One piece at a time.
FINISHED: stays up all week. That’s the portfolio.
Stuck? The card goes to ASK A MENTOR, with the name of who can help.
Each card has WHAT, DUE, SIZE (quick, medium, big) and NEXT STEP, so a half-done job shows where to pick back up after dinner. Big project? Break it into stages on a BIG PROJECT card.
On Friday they count the FINISHED cards. That’s the week’s output, in their hands. You see it too, without asking “did you do your homework?” five times.

Why It Works
Remembering to do something later is hard for a lot of kids, especially when the reminder lives inside a closed laptop. A visible wall holds it for them. A short list for today removes the “what do I do now?” moment, and one card on the easel answers “what am I doing right now?” The adult page shows how to step back over about eight weeks.
Designed with ADHD and easily distracted kids in mind. It’s an organizing tool, not a medical product.
How It Arrives
Instant digital download: 2 PDFs (the US Letter set and the 11×17 board). No physical item ships. You need paper, scissors, tape and a pencil.
FAQ
Isn’t this just another planner?
No boxes to fill each day. Cards move across a wall.
Where should the board go?
Where homework happens, or somewhere they walk past twice a day. They pick the spot.
What if a card gets stuck?
Pin it in ASK A MENTOR. Stuck for 2+ days is a good moment for a quick note to the teacher.
Can they draw on it?
It prints in black and white, so the wall is theirs to make their own. Just keep the four columns.

Questions parents ask
What ages and grades is this for?
Ages 11 to 14 is the sweet spot (grades 5 to 9). The tone is grown-up, with no cartoon mascots, so a 13-year-old won’t feel babied.
Is it good for kids with ADHD?
It was designed with distractible kids and kids with ADHD in mind: one job per page, a short DO THIS line, short sessions, a clear next step and nothing that resets after a missed day. It is a study tool, not a treatment.
Does my kid have to love art studio things?
It helps. The whole system speaks the language of drawing, sketchbooks, painting, comics and making things. If that’s not your kid, the same system comes in 10 other worlds with matching page numbers.
Can I use it for homeschool or my classroom?
Yes. The license covers one household, or one teacher’s own students. Reprint it for every test this year.
