Every race has a weekend. Every season has the weeks in between. This racing study bundle pairs a test prep plan with a homework board, grades 5-9.

Sound Familiar?

Knows every pit window. Doesn’t know the due date.

“I studied” means one fast reread the night before.

Homework flies by in ten minutes, then sits in the backpack, unsubmitted.

A racing season is the weekly grind in the garage plus the weekends that count. This bundle covers both, and teaches what good drivers learn early: precision first, pace comes with laps.

Every Week: The Pit Board

🏎️ A wall board with four columns: PADDOCK (next 7 days), TODAY’S GRID (max 3), ON TRACK (only 1), FINISHED (stays up all week).

2-5 minutes a day. One card on track at a time, with a NEXT STEP written on it and a Turned in box before it can finish.

Friday: count the finishes, file them in the season file, circle one win.

Test Week: Race Day

⏱️ A 16-page plan for one test. Your kid picks a weekend by days left (5+, 2-4, or tomorrow).

The Qualifying Lap comes first: notes closed, every topic rated ON PACE, OFF PACE or NO LAPS.

Then Race Strategy, a Practice Schedule over at least 2 days, fold-over Lap Cards, a Telemetry Log (+1 lap for every try, hit or miss), and a Data Debrief where RUSHED is a named cause with its own fix.

It ends with a Race Simulation, mixed and timed, and a Proof it worked box: topics ready before vs. after.

What’s Inside

Race Day: 16-page PDF, US Letter

The Pit Board: 10-page PDF, US Letter (setup page, 4 columns, 10 job cards, 4 Endurance cards, routine poster, adult page)

The Pit Board: single 11×17 sheet for a print shop

Why The Pair Works

The board keeps daily work visible so tests don’t sneak up. Race Day turns “go study” into steps: test yourself first, practice from memory, spread it over days, all well supported by learning research. Each file has a plain-language page for the adult helping.

Designed with ADHD and easily distracted kids in mind: one job per page, short sessions, no streaks to break. Missed a day? “A pit stop, not a retirement.”

How It Arrives

✅ Instant digital download: 4 PDFs. No physical item ships.

Black-and-white friendly. Print at home; the 11×17 sheet goes to any print shop.

FAQ

Should we start with the board or the test plan?

Start the board this week. Open Race Day as soon as a test date shows up in the Paddock.

My kid finishes everything fast and sloppy. Is this for them?

Yes. Both tools reward clean work: one card at a time, a Turned in box, and a mistake check that names rushing so it can be fixed.

Is it reusable?

The board runs all year with extra cards. Print a fresh Race Day route for each test.

License

The weekly grind and race weekend, both covered.

Bonus: Mehtivation: The Race Day Deck

45 illustrated, printable pep-talk cards for the days your kid opens the page and feels meh. Each card is honest about how school feels, then gives one tiny move that points straight back to a page in the system. Sorted into piles: Stuck, Tired, Too Much, Test Soon, Got It Back, Fresh Start and Any Day.

Questions parents ask

What ages and grades is this for?
Ages 11 to 14 is the sweet spot (grades 5 to 9). The tone is grown-up, with no cartoon mascots, so a 13-year-old won’t feel babied.

What is the bonus card deck?
Mehtivation: The Race Day Deck is 45 illustrated, printable pep-talk cards for the days your kid feels meh. Each card names the feeling, then gives one tiny move back into their Race Day and The Pit Board pages. It’s included free with this bundle.

The test is tomorrow. Is it too late?
No. There is a one-page plan for the night before, about 90 minutes, in order.

Is it good for kids with ADHD?
It was designed with distractible kids and kids with ADHD in mind: one job per page, a short DO THIS line, short sessions, a clear next step and nothing that resets after a missed day. It is a study tool, not a treatment.

Does my kid have to love racing things?
It helps. The whole system speaks the language of race cars, karting, pit stops and lap times. If that’s not your kid, the same system comes in 10 other worlds with matching page numbers.

Can I use it for homeschool or my classroom?
Yes. The license covers one household, or one teacher’s own students. Reprint it for every test this year.
